Couldn’t ask for a better day to be a sports fan. Not only is it Opening Day for Major League Baseball, but it is also the Men’s NCAA Basketball title game between North Carolina and Michigan State. It’s a toss-up on which event I should watch later.

So far since class got out at 1:15, I’ve been watching baseball (forget homework for now). My Cubbies have been on my mind all day, and I can’t wait for first pitch at 6:05 on ESPN2. Of course you know I’m a die hard Cubs fan, and the matchup between Carlos Zambrano and Roy Oswalt tonight is very intriguing. A lot of people forget, but what also is nice on Opening Day is it’s the Best against the Best. You’ve got each teams #1 starting pitcher up against the other teams #1.

So I threw together my preview of the 2009 MLB Season. You might say I’m biased because I’m a Cubs fan. But I’m a firm believer in this team. We always think it’s our year and when you look at this team from hitting, to starting pitching to bullpen, everything is in tact.
