AudioAdam

I’m Adam McLaughlin and I write AudioAdam to share my thoughts in the world of sports. In my nature, sports surround me. I started AudioAdam in 2009 to spread around my personal view of Top News. I gained experience through the media sensation by joining the staff of my high school newspaper, “The Echo” where I was Sports Editor and eventually Editor-In-Chief during my senior year. I’m currently a Junior attending the University of Nebraska @ Kearney with a degree in Mass Media of Journalism. I handle the online publication of “The Antelope,” the campus newspaper. I am on the student radio station, 91.3 KLPR where I am a weekly DJ with my own music show.

I currently work part-time at a Mexican restaurant called Carlos O’Kellys and with the Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League. There, I collect game film and run the in-game instant replay screens of our StormVision crew.

The art of Public Address Announcing is a job title that interests me. In the near future, my aspiration is to work for a National Sports team in a big city market, east coast or west coast. Working for ESPN would be a dream come true.
